help! bent my 19 inch niche targas! any advice on wheel repair?
Went on a long road trip and hit plenty of potholes and craters that I couldn't avoid. Saw that my front wheel has a significant bend on the outer edge. Tires are holding air and psi is unchanged. Anybody here have any experience on getting their bent wheels fixed? Thanks.

No matter what you do, it will never be the same again. Will bent again easy. Don't waste your money on repair and get a replacement.

supernsx is right, the process to repair a bent wheel typically calls for heating up the wheel and at that point it will become brittle and will most like crack eventually. Sucks to have to buy a replacement, but check with the manufacturer and see if they will offer you a substantial discount for a replacement.

Bent rim
i have a slight vibration in the car at speeds 80+. Took it to mb to balance. They did a road force balance and found one of the 20” rims was bent. Said they’d have their wheel repair service fix it for $200. Hope it fixes the vibration ...we’ll see. |
Def replace it......deserves new, and safer.
