Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is in search mode. Its usually a small checkbox on your phones Bluetooth screen where which would allow other devices to connect to it. Also try these steps below:

Turn Bluetooth On and Off

Enabling Bluetooth on your device is simple: From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings. Tap Bluetooth, and then tap ON/OFF to turn Bluetooth on or off. The notification panel also provides quick access to the Bluetooth function, allowing you to quickly turn it on or off. Simply swipe down on the Status Bar to display the Notification Panel and tap Bluetooth to turn it on or off.

Make Your Device Visible to Other Bluetooth Devices

When you make your phone visible, other Bluetooth devices can find it in a scan and initiate pairing. You can choose the length of time your device remains visible: From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings. Tap Bluetooth > More options > Visibility timeout. Select a time period for your device to remain visible after you turn on visibility.

Scan for Bluetooth Devices

When you want to pair with another Bluetooth device, you can scan for nearby devices that are visible. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings. Tap Bluetooth, and then tap the ON/OFF switch to turn on Bluetooth. Tap Scan. Nearby devices will display on the screen.

Pair Bluetooth Devices

The Bluetooth pairing process allows you to establish trusted connections between your phone and another Bluetooth device. Pairing between two Bluetooth devices is a one-time process. Once a pairing is created, the devices will continue to recognize their partnership and exchange information without having to re-enter a passcode.
  1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
  2. Tap Bluetooth, and then tap the ON/OFF switch to turn on Bluetooth.
  3. Make sure that the target device is discoverable, so that your device can find it. Refer to the instructions that came with the device to find out how to set it to discoverable mode.
  4. Tap Scan. Your device will start to scan for Bluetooth devices within range.
  5. When you see the name of the target device displayed in the Bluetooth devices section, tap the name. Your device then automatically tries to pair with the target device. If automatic pairing fails, enter the passcode supplied with the target device.
