Brake HOLD

Had my 73 plate CLA 200 since April and just got round to trying the park assist. Watched a few video's on You Tube on how to bay park and parallel park and been trying it out.

Anyway, in the course of watching You Tube videos there were several on hidden tips. One was about the brake HOLD which I knew nothing about.

When you stop at traffic lights or in a line of traffic, instead of sitting with your foot on the brake, just press it down a little harder and 'HOLD' will appear on the dash. You can take your foot off the brake without rolling. When you want to move off you just press the accelerator.

I use it all the time now, so thought I would post it in case it helps anyone else out.

Good stuff. It is feature on most MB models for a while now but a good feature nonetheless.
