What do you guys think?
First thread of this sub!
What do you guys think of this car?
I am thinking about it to replace my E class Cab since its such a small car.
Seems like it's going to be fun to drive around the city!

Should be a great car, though don't know how much can be done on the stock turbo. It is already pushing 26psi.
Still hoping Audi comes out with the RS3 here with the turbo 5. Since I doubt the wagon version will make it here either, I think the renderings of the RS3 sedan look better than the CLA45.
Only time will tell.

my favorite part is all the farting it does in the video, like the interior but not a fan of the back end set up...just the way it looks throws me off

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
This past weekend....
There was a CLA at the Amelia Island Councours at the Mercedes display.
Sorry, no.
It looks cheap, small, and undistinguihable from lots of other small cars on the market. In my useless opinion, it cheapens the brand. Welcome to the Mercedes Taurus/Sentra/Optima, etc. There's a couple pictures in my phone. Surely lots of others have posted it already.
Go ahead, flame away. I think you will feel the same when you see it.

This is the first car I've seen in a long time that has piqued my interest. My requirements are pretty simple: great performance, four doors (with enough room for my kids in the back), AWD, a stick and it has to be something a little different (i.e., I don't like seeing myself coming and going). The only thing wrong with this car is the transmission -- but it might actually have enough of the other stuff to get me over it.
My eyes have been wandering on websites for a while but I haven't come across anything exciting. I know there are great sedans out there but they've all fallen short to me.
I recently test drove the 335xi and S4. I was most disappointed with 335xi. It has an awesome engine but the car otherwise fell flat to me. I actually liked the S4 quite a bit by comparison to the Bimmer but it pailed in comparison to its predecessor, the B7 V8, which I drove a number of years ago. Unfortunately, the M3 isn't available with AWD and the C63 has neither AWD or a stick. The CTS-V doesn't have AWD and I don't have any gold chains. Acuras are...well...fugly and cold. Every Infiniti I've ever driven (including my parents' old FX) sounds like Chewbacca at full throttle and their styling does nothing for me. The Lexus IS-F also lacks AWD, a stick...and a soul.
The CLA45 is really the first car to get me seriously thinking about a new car. I'm not ready to put down a deposit but I will definitely be calling my local Mercedes dealer very soon. I look forward to seeing whatever you guys can find about the car (e.g., options lists, color charts, etc.).

P.S. I see the criticisms about its styling but I think that's what's so great about this car -- it's just different. It eschews the norm and almost looks like a caricature of an AMG car. I love it.
