$57050, i complained how ugly the burl walnut looked, so they took off the 325. It was as a small victory, but one none the less.
56725 final sale price
I'm sure they didnt want to be the only dealer with 2 unclaimed CLA 45's

Lease residual vs CPO price ?

24 Months - 65%
30 Months - 61%
36 Months - 57%
42 Months - 53%
48 Months - 50%
54 Months - 47%
60 Months - 45%
Please add to the residual +4 for 7,500 Miles, +3 for 10,000 Miles and +2 for 12,000 Miles.
The Money Factor is .00225.

How closely do the leasing residuals track the CPO prices ? Do CPO prices generally follow something like
CPO Price (car age) = Original MSRP * Residual-%(car age)
?
I realize market conditions can change and what was a hot car when sold new could be more or less in demand a few years later than MB was expecting when they set the residuals.
I'm thinking about looking for good deal on a 3.5L C300 when the masses trade in for a w205 C400.
I could have posted this elsewhere, but the post I quoted was pretty well informed about the leasing market.

Gm and happy holidays everyone.
As a strong advocate of the 45 and hoping these lease rates will come down - unfortunately I decided not to wait and pulled the trigger on a loaded E Class. Some deals are just too good to pass up.
Although I know it's supply and demand and it will take time for these to pile up at dealers before they start kicking in deals, I didn't have the patience to let economics take its course.
See you all on the other side
