Interest in 175mph limiter...
Hey guys, we now have the ability to raise the top speed limiter to circa 175mph.
Would there be interest in us retailing a module to allow you to do this or do you feel it is not needed..
It is achieved by the installation of a module under the dash the dash with relatively simple plug and play functionality.
Unfortunately cost wise it may be prohibitive though...
I would expect units to run somewhere circa $1500-1600 usd

Not really. I've gotten up to 170mph on the Autobahn and I don't have the driver's package with the increased limiter.
Also, I would be ok if it were included with the ECU tune, but I wouldn't pay $1,500 just to increase the limiter.

Definitely uncalled for. This is not a scam. Rebellion is an established tuner and sponsor and it's clear from his post that he was just gauging if there was any interest.
Thanks, Matt. I'm glad tuners are willing to ask for and take our feedback into account

I'd be interested in paying a lil more for the tune if the raised limiter was included. But realistically, I'll probably never get the car going that fast so wouldn't be worth the money by itself.

Yeah that's all fine.... But unfortunately until there is full ECU access for a traditional 'remap' then all elements have to be treated as individual items and additional hardware is the only route to achieving goals...

That makes sense. You've already produced the 2 items I had a strong interest in. Just need the car now. Come on end of the year!!!
