I think they're close to $1500 with a CORE! If they offered a good chunk taken off for core I'd consider it.

Core means you exchange your original with the updated one. It means they send you the new cool wheel, after you install it, you send back your old one.

This allows them to re-use the 'core' of the part to build the next wheel.

Experience tells me that any wheel with plastic is not as good for driving in hot climates. I prefer all leather.
