Are there marked improvements for later year cars? I keep reading issues with earlier failed turbos and jerky transmission.

Turbo issues are only for the first year models. Jerky trans comes with almost any dual clutch car. Even Higher end Lamborghinis are jerky with their dual clutch trannys. Drove a huracan on vacation, same jerkiness, as expected.

16+ has an updated DCT with shorter gearing which in my opinion makes a difference. I went from a 15 to a 17 and the 17 definitely feels quicker and the DCT is much improved.

I had a 14 for 3yrs had zero issues good luck.
