Cla45 amg edition 1
Price check on an edition 1 45!!

So I'm thinking about selling my cosmos black edition 1 with all the goodies. With 35k miles what would you all attempt to sell it for. I love this beast but I think I'll love a c63 even more! Shoot some numbers for what you would sell for, I'll be eternally grateful. Nada and kbb don't list edition 1s so I'm not sure if I should just use the market value of a 45 w/o edition 1 trim.

Thanks

you didn't list the year of the car ?
if its a 14 40.000 if it a 15 42.000 16 45.000
the mileage is what kills your value a lot

Yea those were the numbers I was getting for the cla45 I didn't know if being an edition 1 changed those numbers at all. I was also under the impression edition 1s were only made in 2014. Thanks for the numbers though. I think I'll end up keeping it at that rate and just tune it.

I was in the same boat last year almost bought a CLA45 but then decided on the C63. I think the CLA45 is great car but maybe to lease not sure of long term reliability either the resale value sure is not good thats for sure.....

I don't mind my 4 banger smoking big blocks. It sounds sick as hell and the awd cuts like a knife. Of course now I want a c63 but, the grass is always greener ha.

Now that selling it isn't going to happen I want to dump some money into it of course. FML

The market value depends on a number of things including where you're selling the car. Since you're talking about an Edition 1 45, I'm assuming you're in Canada (or otherwise outside of the US) since Edition 1 45s were never sold in the US.

The pricing that others have provided for 45s seems to be correct for the US but I can't speak to Canadian prices. It also depends on whether you're selling to a dealer or a private buyer. Also, if you're in an area with a lot of cars available on the market, I think you might find pricing to be slightly more flexible.

All that said (which you probably already knew), I would be surprised if Edition 1s carried any real value over a 'regular' 45 unless your Edition 1 and an equally optioned 45 were being sold next to one another and a buyer really wanted the Edition 1. Otherwise, 2015s and newer years were more refined and came standard with things the 14s didn't have (even as options). My guess is that most buyers are going to go for a car equipped with the options they really want over whether it has Edition 1 aesthetics.

Unfortunately, IMHO none of these cars seem to hold their value well. I've got a well optioned 2014 with barely 13K miles on the clock in excellent condition and I've been told it's only worth about 39-40K.

GLWS! The C63 is a beast but, unfortunately, I need AWD. I wish the E wasn't so big! lol

It's here in the US. I don't think I'll ever really sell it. I was just curious if there was some added value because I don't think there can be that many already imported here.
