A180CDI possible lack of power

Hi!

About a year ago I bought a used W176 A180CDI (december 2013, 75.000km). In the beginning I thought it felt kind of sluggish. Accelerates slowly, especially at low speeds and low revs. However, it reaches its advertised top speed (195km/h) with no problems, the engine otherwise seems to run fine, with no error or warning messages on the display. So I thought it was supposed to be like that and got used to it.

But today I drove a 10 year old Citroen Berlingo with a 1.6 74hp non-turbo diesel engine (as apposed to my 1.46 108hp turbo diesel). It felt snappier at low speeds than the A180! So now I'm worried something's wrong with the A180 after all.

I will take it to the garage for a B1 service soon and will ask them to check it out. But I was wondering if anyone here has had similar problems, or whether anyone has a clue as to what might be wrong? Thanks.
