A250 - fuel pump & charcoal canister issues question

Hello everyone,

6 months ago my 3 year old A250 started leaking petrol. I took it to my garage and they replaced the high pressure fuel pump and high pressure fuel line. This fixed the leak. However, yesterday my car broke down with a 'fair safe' warning and then entered limp mode. The garage have looked into this and come back with the following:

1. Major misfire detected when engine is on for some time. Need to replace fuel pump assembly (high pressure) then do a complete engine tune up.

2. Fuel inlet issue coming from charcoal canister, need to replace. [I think this is to do with the issue I have when re-fuelling, it always cuts off the pump]

3. TPM sensor faulty, need to replace [I think this is to do with a tyre value that doesn't cut off air when the cap is not on]

Since I only had the fuel pump replaced 6 months ago, does this inspection seem ok? I don't want to pay for something I shouldn't have to.

Thanks a lot!

Rich
