What is my buddy's '04 sl55 worth?
My buddy has a silver 04 sl55 with Pano and all options (he says) with 27k miles, garaged, and no mods. He was going to the stealer today to talk about trading for something more practical and he called me. What is it really worth? Anyone want it? I'll connect you to the guy.

He is about 50 mins north of Boston in Exeter NH. It is a long drive to you, but look on the bright side... that guy just spent months planning a cannonball and broke a 20 yr record by driving it in 31 hours. You could fly out here and break it two weeks later. Just need to get rid of that pesky 155 limiter. As an aside, how is that guy not in jail if he filmed the whole thing and has been on the news admitting he went 160 for large portions of the trip?

If you are asking how good a friend - On the spectrometer of friends 1-10, 1 being you have seen them enough to know there name, 10 being your families hang, he is a 5.

no, the guy did not cannonball the car. I was just joking with the guy from CALI on proposed self-delivery options.
And both Andover and Exeter are pretty bad*ss, guys. If you got into either one of them you are no dummies.
I asked yesterday, and the stealer is offering him 55k. And giving him a decent deal on a new(almost new) Lexus. Why the hell he'd want to go from a SL 55 to a Lexus is a mystery to me, but I guess it gives you and indicator of how he drove the SL.
