ive dealt with many people on this forum selling items and buying and frankly being called a "scammer" is just plain insulting. i was emailed once, and hours later recieved a dispute which the buyer chose to escalate to a claim minutes later without a response. truth be told if you NEED to know, i had a family emergency the day i was originally planning to go to the post office and ship it, the jacket and signing onto mbworld was not my highest of priorities at that point. thanks to the people in the thread who vouched for me, now can someone delete this thread?

Being a regular user of paypal (ebay, ie.), I like things speedy...like receiving the items I bought or sending bought items. To me, if I don't receive an item in 2 weeks time (except for out of country or special order), that's reason for filing a compliant. And with no email communications, that's more reason to file a dispute with paypal. I hate waiting....thus, I tried to extend that favor towards my buyers....Once payment received, item ships the next day or two and they get it within a week.
I'm not calling anybody a scammer here, but I would be just as mad as the buyer. 3 weeks.... family emergency or not, spending 2 minutes to type out a response would've never led to this. But glad the buyer got the item and is happy.

You know you did. Of course you never shipped it. Instead of sending me that email, you could've sent the family emergency email, right? Then magically, once paypal got involved, I received a message from you stating I'd be receiving it in a few days and all of a sudden there's a tracking number? Cmon, man...I'm not dense.
For what it's worth, the seller is NOT a scammer. I'll back pedal on the statement. But, I wonder, just wonder how long it would've taken to get the item had paypal not gotten involved.
Anyway, it's done. I received it and it's exactly what the seller described.
Oh, and the paypal dispute was ended within hours of receiving the item, not weeks. See how that works?
