FS: 2002 Lexus IS300

I am selling my 2002 Silver Lexus IS300. It has 11,600 miles.
-Xenon Headlamps
-6 Disc Changer
-Auto dimming mirrors(outside too)
-Auto temp control
-Manual Transmission
-Traction Control
-Head impact side airbags & side airbags
-Sport tuned suspension
-17 inch Polished wheels
-Z rated performance tires

and more.
It was always washed and sealed with Zaino or P21S and has virtually no swirl marks. No door dings, dents, scratches or paint work ever done to this car.

I am asking $25,000, but I am willing to negotiate.

Is that trade in value with or without a tax credit? Do you even have that in your state? If it were this close I would trade it because in my state I would get a salestax credit on the trade-in amount.

explain this tax credit thing, im not too sure what that is. I think getting rid of the car maybe too much hassle @ this point... not sure.

When you trade a car in, they deduct the value from the price of your new car BEFORE they calculate sales tax, so you save some money there...

$24,200 in MA (at 5% sales tax) would net you an additional benefit of $1,210 in sales tax savings.

Thanx ajchenmph. You beat me to it. I hate these short lunch hours (1/2). :D

Alboston, I hope it works out for. I know that not every state charges sales tax on cars. But those that do usually play the credit game.

What are you getting if this works out? W203 sports sedan?

Let us know the outcome.

Always glad to help a fellow MBworlder.
