I know, I know, WTF is this guy doing trying to sell a Mitsubishi on an MB board right? Well, ya gotta start somewhere. Apex silver with black interior sunroof and carbon fiber factory wing. Modified: Digital Boost controller, Apexi air-flow converter, Aquamist system 2D water injection, RMR intake, random technologies 200 cell-count metal cat, Helix oil catch can. Will include Sirius Sattalite radio as well. Includes 3 sets of tires- Toyo T1-R street tires, Yokohama Advan A046 track tires and a set of Blizzak WS-50 snow tires. Also includes (but not installed) Perrin fuel rail, RMR carbon fiber steering column pod and an analog boost controller. very light hail damage on the aluminum hood (got caught in a hail storm), scratch in the rear bumper from some jerk at the bank who nailed it (nothing major). This is an awesome car. Handles like nothing else, steering feel second to none, Superb Brembo brakes. Oil changed after 1000 miles, then every 3000 after that, replaced T-Case oil with Redline lightweight shockproof and trans. oil with Redline MT90. I figure the car is making maybe 330-350 HP, but haven't put it on the dyno to find out. Will also include a bad stock 16G turbo which will be good to send in and have a 20G hybrid made. Just under 12,000 miles in 14 months. Never drag raced, never road raced. Used as a daily driver and the occasional trip to denver and back. All factory take-off parts included with the sale as well. I also have a set of HRE 19" wheels if the buyer wants to buy those- brand new in the box, never installed. I've yet to race anyone in Colorado Springs that could beat me, except of course, those brutal Kleemann cars.

Why am I selling this car? It's a great car and I would keep it if I could afford to, but I've decided to buy a fully built Kleemann W208.

That depends on what your definition of "race" is- I've never taken it to any autoX or road course events, and it's never been on a drag strip. Mostly roll-on races on the street- 40-100 MPH.

The Advan's are the stock tires- I call them track tires because they have a tread wear of only 140. I did plan on doing some track work, however I've been too busy this year to find the time. The Advan's only have about 1500 miles on them- I bought the car October 2003 and the snow tires went on pretty much immediatly. I then got the set of Toyo's so I could save the Advan's in case I ever made it to the track (which I didn't).

 

I'm buying the first kleemann V8 car this country saw. 2000 CLK430. It's been with the company since the beginning, and now it's time for it to find a home in my garage. It was the car in European Car Magazine and Car and Driver a couple years back. Search for 'kleemann' on caranddriver.com, and you'll find it.
