CLK Convertible Roll Over Bar Reset Question

CLK Convertible Roll Over Bar Reset Question
Hi
I have a CLK 230K Convertible and the rear Roll Over Bars (the headrests at the back) keep coming up and will not go back down!
Each time this happens I have to take it back to the main dealer to be reset as the button on the dash wont put them down and the Roll Over Bars remain locked in position
Does anyone know of a simple way to reset these bars each time without having to pay main dealer reset prices each time!!
Any help is greatfully appreciated

I remember this happening to me too. When I start the car, they would just go all the way up, some times to the point where they would hit the conv. top.
I don't remember what I did, but try to bring them down all the way and then up for an inch or so.
But if you can't lower them, then maybe its a different problem all together.
