So what's all the nonsense in my trunk??

Can you help me ID the extra stuff in the trunk?
First off there's a little (4cmx4cm) box to the left of the spare wheel that says "Fahrtrichtung". Is that the GPS dohickey? Fahrtrichtung is losely translated to directions or rather "correct way to go".

Also I've got two lose wires sitting right by the box, they are black, round and seem to have coax-like ends (wire in the middle, threaded socket around it)

the coax wires are the radio antena i belive i didnt have the am/fm amplifier so i just hooked the two wires together using a coaxial split
