Nifty cell phone/map light
I've been struggling with my cell phone in the dark (keypad is not illuminated when in long listen-mode, which makes handling voice mail in the dark a real *****).
Kensington has a great little laptop keypad light called the Fly Light - coolest looking light around. It's got a USB port connector, which I cut off and hard wired into a Radio Shack cigarette lighter 3VDC output adapter.
Fits perfectly, and much better looking that then usual map light crap out there. A bit tough to get the wires out of the flex harness, but it fits very well with no real modifications. I'll try to post a pic this weekend, but go to kensington.com to see the light, close your eyes and picture a cigarette lighter plug on the end of the cable, and you get the idea.
