A couple of Oil change tips

I bought an Electric Drill Pump Kit. Its made by JABSCO (PN 17215-000) and sells for between $30 and $40. Comes with a dip stick tube, discharge tube and a self priming pump that chucks into a 1/4" or 3/8" drill. Worked great. I got mine at a local West Marine store.
When installing the filter cartridge on the sprindle, make sure its fully installed (i.e. pushed on all the way and seated up against the cap). Its easy to not do this properly. The filter element has 2 lines drawn on it. If both lines show, its not installed properly (only 1 line is visable when installed properly.
Make sure you use the Mann extended service filter (PN 001-180-26-09). Dealer price is $22.55, on line price was $12.81. This is the filter PN for the CLK320.
I also plan on dropping the pan and replacing the sensor. I've been getting a big red "Reduce Oil Level" light coming on. I talked to my buddy at the dealership, and he believes its the sensor. No oil pan gasket needed, just some gew. Sensor it less than $40. Also a good opportunity to clean out the oil pan.
