Replacing O2 sensors
Anyone have a DIY way to replace O2 sensors?

An O2 sensor socket and a breaker bar. That's it.

But after doing an Ebay search, I'm wondering why some of the 02 sensors sold without connectors that supposedly fit our cars have 1 wire, some have 2 wires, and some have 4 wires. Don't our 02 sensors have 4 wires that go into the connectors? I know autohausaz sells them specifically depending on their locations. But it looks like the cheapest place is Ebay. http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro...xygen%20Sensor I got no clue. You guys that have it figured out, be sure fill us in. I'm probably going to have to replace my 02 sensors sometime soon. |
Just had mine changed at dealer under 8 year / 80K warrany (by law).
See this link (listen to the audio link as well. http://wbz.com/pages/2160021.php? The Mercedes and Audi O2 sensors are the planar type and seem to fail with gas that has to much ethanol. |
