2000 clk wrecked what to do!!!! Help

So some idiot rams into the back of my car while my car was parked on the street. Rips the rear end bumper completely off My 2000 clk 430 he was going about 30 mph, mind you my car has never suffered any body damage, The adjuster from his insurance company adjuster :smash: puts on the estimate that rear corner panel buckle was previous damage before accident. I don't even want the car as the frame I'm thinking might be damaged.. bUT THIS A-Hole of an adjuster insist that a rear side corner panel can not buckle if hit from behind.. What should I do from here? Help Please

call in INS company and insist they send a differnt adjuster with real skills at looking into the damage as that guy probably dont have a clue WTF hes talking about and just going off what he learned in the books .. Also take it a couple differnt collision shops and get quotes and what not and send back to insurance company showing them their adjuster is wrong .. Goodluck

Your Own Ins

Go through your own insurance adjuster. They have a vested interest in being your advocate. It's what you pay them for in part. They in turn will negotiate with the at fault party's ins group. It won't affect your rates, especially since you were parked and clearly not at fault. :y

Call your own insurer because it's the job of the other company to be unscrupulous and not pay you the damage. If you want to screw over their insurance company, then you get your company to pay out for the repair, then it becomes their problem to get the money from the other company, a scenario they would rather avoid.

It's not competence of the adjuster. The adjuster is trying to trim costs.

they'll also try to put aftermarket and refurbished parts wherever and whenever they can! IMO, your group is less likely in this case to go that route.

THANKS!!

I'm actually in the process of having another body check it out a Benz certified repair shop who tells me that their may be more damage underneath , So actually waiting to hear what the additional damage may be. The at fault insurance do adjust the quote how ever, Im taking the advice and having my insurance company help since my rates will not be affected. It's becoming to much at this point I rather them total the car out:nix: I have attached a file of the wreck!

it doesn't look that bad but if you have unibody construction damage that could be worse but, it can be fixed.
