i doubt anyone is going to the parts departement and getting parts alone. The coupon and fine print clearly say "Total service must be $xx.xx or more" (where xx.xx= amount of the coupon).

my parts guy is super cool but, yeah I just went to parts ad got my stuff and left. there is people on other forums who have had different reactions. Almost everyone ended up geting parts.

I actually received another $50 coupon in the mail from Mercedes, took it to my dealers parts counter and grabbed an internal cabin air filter and it only cost me $5.
So I still have another to use that I printed.
Gonna grab oil filters and antenna boot/seal.

Weird.. with my 99 CLK, I get $100.. with my 08 ML I get $25

I guess the figure the old cars don't go into their service as much, hence the bigger bait.

I just put down '99 CLK and hit submit 7 times.

I've heard it doesn't matter what you put down and that the dealer only needs the PIN -- but don't quote me on that.

The gift cards now seem to say "Offer applies to this vehicle only."

Does that mean they will reject it if you have a newer car but signed up under the 1999/2000 car?

If the coupon prints with the vehicle model on it then yes, it may get rejected.

If not, the PIN given doesn't connect to a model or year. I used '99 CLK on the coupon even though I have an '03 and the dealer gave me a new wiper blade and smog for $16.

Well I have got a $100 service card coupon which I will give it to the dealer.As per your website given by you,so I have checked it on that it is working it.I liked that website.You should put on the correct code then there may be no chance to get rejected.
