Projector / Halos
OK, I've been on this forum for some time and I've witnessed the advent of the newly manufactured Projectors, we all called them cheese grators back then. they've come along way since then and the variety in the marketplace looks to be pretty competitive.
A few days ago I was in a small fender bender and my car is in the shop. I was VERY lucky the car wasnt totalled out. The repairs call for a replacement headlamp. The current healdlamps are the OEM Xenon. but the cost to replace one is quite a bit more than getting two new projectors. Of course I have the option of a new OEM Xenon...I just want to be sure I am aware of all my options.
So now to my question; Can those of you that have the projectors comment on their quality, reliability and what styles you like best? Seen anything new you wish you had waited for? I'm hesitant to purchase online w/ out seeing and holding them in my hands so I'm looking for a little guidance and advice from you guys!
Thanks as always for your input.

But The one most of us that upgraded there headlights don't like are the infamous cheese graters.MMM430 asked for a opinion and I reply ....don't get the cheese graters and you found that weird ? If you or anyone likes the cheese graters no problem that fine! But MMM430 asked for opinion and I gave him mines !

Anyway, I still agree with you about the cheese graters. I saw the pictures and they look like they're belonging to a kitchen. I don't know why MB would design like that, I guess so many chefs like Benz...

The emoticon "werd" is used to show agreement with a person's comment. So... I was agreeing with you, and I also have the halo projectors.
Thanks for listening,

Yo man...i LOVE the look, but I'm not sure that the quality is as high as OEM. However, i think I could go through about 3-4 sets of aftermarket xenon kits and headlamp assemblies within the cost of the OEM xenon kit

And not the cheese graters. Def either chrome or black halo ones (i never hooked up the halo portion due to the BMW look...but the black headlamps look great in my black car)
