blower won't stop
The aircon blower on my clk 230 will not stop even with the ignition off and the key removed. I have had to remove the fuse.
Could anyone help please, (it has been suggested that the problem may be the blower regulator). |

I would agree that it's the regulator as I just embarked on my very first DIY repair of the car and replaced both the blower and regulator (this is the only thing on the car i'm an expert with LOL).
If I remember correctly, the leads feeding voltage to the regulator were hot even when the blower was off, and maybe even while the car was off. If the regulator is faulty it won't be able to send the correct voltage to the blower, and in your case it sounds like it's just staying "hot." I bought the regulator from autohausAZ and the blower from FCP groton. |
