"Service Now" for 99 CLK320?

What does the "Service" entail? I was looking at the previous owners records and appears that they had it serviced every 3k miles? Should I continue, can I do it myself, how much is it usually at a shop?

Service A is pretty much an oil change

Service B glorified oil change...

Do it yourself and reset the setting. Save yourself a good amount of money. Look up in the DIY thread for the steps.

good luck

on Pre-2000 models I don't think they were defined as A and B, it just simply says "Service Now"

So I only need to change the oil?

99CLK320,
the dealer has the schedule for when an A or a B service is "needed." the previous posted is correct in saying that the B service is a glorified oil change plus they check your turn signal fluid and your muffler bearings. Its just a way to generate income for the dealership. If you are handy you can change your own oil and, if you use synthetic oil you can go 7-10K miles before changing.

It could be time for just an oil change. It could nee a little more. It depends on the mileage. This may help. It's the service schedule and what it consists of.

I believe when you reset the indicator it resets to 10K.
