Hey guys before I have to drill a hole or lift the car up to check it out I wondered if anyone knows of a good place to run a wire from the cab into the engine bay? Anyone used any existing holes/grommets? Maybe there are some good ones down on the bottom around the tranny and heat shields? Any suggestions would be appreciated, once my wires are ran I am installing my electric exhaust cutout, sooo the quicker the help the sooner vids for everyone!

Under the rear carpet close to the center consul there is one rubber grommet on each side in the rear passenger foot area. That would be your best bet. How ever you do have to remove the drier seat and loosen up the back of the center consul via two screws on the bottom of the lower compartment in order to move the carpet and have access to running wires. Te reason why no one responded is probably because not many people have taken these cars apart, I learned all these locations when I did my 55 conversion which is a very rare case but for the most part people wouldn't be able to help out with these types of questions.

If I remember correctly, I ran a sirius antenna wire from under the windsheild wipers into the passenger foot well through a hole...if you remove the cover below the glove box and look up towards the door hinge...it was somewhere in that region.
