I see I spoke too fast on that, I was looking for myself a few days ago and looking now I see I saw prices each and thought they were pairs.
My brain fart, I apologize.
Looks like $324 is a better price than I had found.

Installing shocks is not rocket science. You really can't screw it up unless you don't tighten them down. If you can't DIY then any indy could do the job. It is a little tricky getting into the trunk behind the lining but even that job is a no brainer. $250 is too much.

Most shops don't want to install your parts because they mark up about 50-100% on their cost when they sell you the parts. Labor is only half of where they make money. Most jobs are about 50% parts and 50% labor, but you can usually buy parts and DIY for 25% of the total shop quote.

I recently purchased a complete set of Bilstein sport shocks for $350.00 and install was 100$.
MarcusF is right, it only takes an hour on the rack.
