rear window not raising fully
 

2002 W208 AMG convertible
My drivers side rear window will not raise fully, seems to just stop at the halfway point. i tried resetting the windows by holding the switch down, nada. Also tried pulling the fuse to that window, starting the car, shutting it down and reinstalling the fuse, still no difference.
If i lower it a bit from the half up position I am able to wiggle the window a bit and sense movement, once I raise it to where it stops halfway it is stiff as if it is jamming or something.
Is this common?
Any thoughts on this issue
It goes up (halfway) and down with no problems, express lowering works , etc
Other windows are fine, no flashing lights on the dash
