another VIP one off available
Hi everyone. As i mentioned before i was working on a set of carbon fiber side skirt add on lips. There are two sets in existence, one is mine and one is up for grabs. They are super light hand laid carbon fiber. They dont lower you car as they mount on the side curve of the side skirts. They are designed to create stability for side air flow as well as just the modern cool look. They sit flushed with the aide skirts with actual special screws(no double sided tapeing or gluing. In this package i am also offering the oem AMG rocker panels. The side skirts are oem and in mint condition as well, i also have shaved off the side jack hole covers for the more clean and updated look. The carbon fiber side lips will come mounted on these skirts. Theu skirts will need to be painted, i can have them match painted for you for an extra $300. Im asking $600 for the Rocker panels and the carbon fiber lips. My cost was over $2000 for mold and r&d for the carbon fiber lips but i have the whole package priced to sell fast because i dont have the room to keep them. Again the package is for the oem AMG rocker panel side skirts and the two carbonfiber side skirt lips.
P.S. first come first served

Ash-
Just to clarify - this will not work on a non AMG model? Would these be more suitable for a car that is not lowered? I have an 1" 1/2" drop already (H&R Springs). Thoughts? You keep making these mods and you're going to make switch out for an AMG model just buy your custom toys.
Here is my car.

It will work on a NON-AMG model. Remember Ash's car is a 320 conversion to a 55. There should also be no issues with your drop as I have the H&R Sport Cup Kit, 1.9 Inch Drop (FR) & 1.6 Inch Drop (RR).

First, sorry to hear about the accident, I hope that everyone is ok.
Second, great workmanship, these would look great on my car but I just have one question. If you got rid of the jack hole access covers how do you gain access to the holes to jack your car up to change a flat after these are installed? Thanks.

Thank you everyone. I have some physical damage that will probably be a couple of months before im fully back but still in process of the doctor visits and checkups and extensive physical therapy. Im sure ill be fine in the long term. As for parts there wont be anymore VIP one offs. This is the last of it as the car is a total loss. I might have a few pieces for sale in the next couple of weeks but they will be interrior one off pieces.
@terry i do have a brand new set of bluetop solonoids for the transmission which gives you the firm faster gear shifts. I bought them 3 months ago but never got a chance to install them. They cost me $287 a piece from my local dealer. Ill let them go for $400 shipped.

hey buddy, it's tragic hearing about your accident as your cars' progression and your ingenious ideas have been my inspiration since the very beginning. reading your modding DIY's and seeing photos of your car is what pushed me the extra mile to make things happen with my car. The first 208 that ever stood out to me was yours and the various pics showed me the true beauty and potential of these cars. It's a blow to the feels that the car is a total loss, but thankfully you still have your life, ingenuity, and drive so I wish you the speediest of recoveries .... and hey, maybe its time for an upgrade (Art is looking for a CL65 since his accident)
as for the skirts, are you willing to part with just the cf lips? I understand that there's absolutely no return for a totaled CLK and you're really in the hole on the value of the car, so I'm not trying to nickle and dime you but I really just dont need nor have the space for the extra set of skirts...

as for the skirts honestly i'm not even charging a penny for the skirts, I just included them in the package as a bones. the skirts themselves sell on ebay in damaged condition for about $300 a side but I figured hey might as well offer it as a full package since they were my spare one. I can just give you the lips but honestly price is not gonna change because the lips cost me over $2k to make, the only effect that its gonna have is going to be the shipping. your shipping charge will be significantly less because the lips are a much smaller package.
P.s they come with full mounting hardware

VIPclk320 I have been following your projects over the years and really appreciate how you've inspired us. I hope I'm not too late, but if you still have these I will grab them
