Engine won't start
 

Things are getting out of hand so I've turned to you, ye experts. It happened for the third time today. I didn't think much of it the first couple of times but now it's really starting to bother me. I get to where I'm going just fine. I park the car properly, handle my bizz, get back in after 10...15 minutes, try to start it back up...engine won't budge. I thought it was the battery at first but all the lights go on in the cluster when I turn on the ignition and after a half hour siesta, it starts just fine. I love my baby ...I need your heeeellllp!

Engine won't budge as in starter not even engaging?

Lighting up the lamps on the dash takes a lot less battery than turning over the engine. If the battery is old, you may want to replace it. Although some people go 8+ years on a battery, it’s a normal wear part and a half dead battery will be more taxing on the alternator. At a minimum, you may want to have the battery properly tested.

If the engine doesn't turn over, most likely a bad starter. Once it cools, it works again.
