CLK 500 Help!

I have a 2004 CLK 500 coupe.
I'm having a no start no crank issue.
The key has fresh batteries, and activates the ignition lock.
The battery is fairly new and tests at 12.4 volts (although not tested on a load tester)
The key turns all the way to start.
Headlights, and interior lights come on, with the exception of the instrument cluster.
No crank, no click, nothing when you turn the key.
I've checked every fuse, the wires at the starter, inspected the wiring and loom for breaks etc.
Still a no go.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

i recently had the same problem mine had no oil in the gearbox after a front end crash but the indy was checking everything and the common problem with these models he said it can be the front sam unit. worth checking with electrician they will diagnose it within an hour
