Celebrities with CLK's

Kobe and Chingy too
1. Kobe drove a Silver CLK 430 to a home game at Staples in 2001. (Not sure if it was his or a rental, but he drove one!)
2. The rapper Chingy pulled up in a quartz blue Cab in his video "Holidae Inn" in the first 5 seconds of the 2003 video. The car had smoked tail lights and chrome exhaust tips.
Seems to me like the W208 CLK is a popular choice amongst celebrities and athletes! W208 fans be proud!
Can the BMW 3-Series or 5-series say the same!? No!

I TOTALLY agree! I'm glad many of the Celeb's have good taste as well!!!!!!
I have a BMW 5 also, and it's a great car, but doesn't have the flash and performance of the 430.
I never thought I would say that since up until a couple of months ago I was a HUGE BMW fan. I'm still one, but the CLK430 has my heart now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Guys, I really...
love the 208, think it's one of the best products from MB/DC in a while (quality/service issues notwithstanding), but we gotta be realistic....as a celeb car, the 208 is old news. Most of the folks you keep talking about here (Jessica, Brittney, Ken Griffey) don't own these cars anymore. They don't know anything about cars, they only know what their handlers tell them they want. Most of these folks have moved on the the SL, but that's old news now as well. Nothing's on these folks list now except the Continental GT. That's obviously a cool ride, but it's primarily due to the fact that you can't get one. Remember how the Maybach was gonna be the end-all to celeb cars? And now it's nowhere. It's all about having what someone else can't, which I suppose is one of the cool perks(?) about being a celeb. Other side of the equation is that both the 208 CLK and the SL are great cars, and will continue to be even though they are now off the "hot" list. Hey, did anybody see his Majesty Donald Trump getting out of a 3 or 4 year old plain jane E320 on "'The Apprentice" finale? You got a zillion dollar helicopter/jet combo and this is the best you can do?Oh and BTW, that wasn't Trina's CLK either. Nor her crib.

I agree with you to some degree, but respectfully disagree on others. Some celebrities, although they are probably the minority, aren't just about the latest and greatest--apparently Donald Trump for example with his E class.
That was the sole purpose of this thread, to see who could have anything they wanted but chose the W208 because they liked it. Another example is Roy Jones Jr., since he STILL ownes a W208. I also mentioned Jessica Simpson, but didn't realize she didn't have her's anymore.
