Clk430 buld TURBO
Hi all. Before I start i just want to say that MB-world has been a great resource to me and I am very appreciative to all the members and their knowledge.
So, I recently got a new job at a custom shop called Three Pedals LLC. As an employee I get deals on parts and cheaper labor plus I can use the facilitys. On top of that one of my mechanic coworkers (Larry) holds the record for most powerful monoblock E55 (he built it). With all this I have decided to build my 2001 clk430. What I plain to do: 88mm turbo (Larry's) Intercooler Cams Ported head Front strut brace Front lower brace Mid lower brace 2 stage boost control Amg calipers drilled rotors amg sway bars amg rear diff amg transmission custom exaust dump valve Tune anyone know where I can find evosport pullys? My car is the "sport" edition so I'm not sure if the sway bars and diff are any different. If they are then I was going to switch to the amg parts. Also does anyone know if a 430 torque converter will fit on an amg trans? I need to know: Is the amg rear diff any better? Are the amg swaybars any better? Is the amg driveshaft better/worth it? What will I need for the trans swap? Has anyone done a non water cooled engine bay turbo? Please let me know if you can answer any of these questions.
