No steering adjustment anywhere.. am I missing something?
Hi chaps,
Have got a CLK230 Avantgarde - I've searched everywhere and I cannot find any form of steering adjustment whatsoever.
There is no lever under the column, no switch adjustment that I can see at all - surely this can't be right?! The car is fully loaded, electric everything and Comand, but no steering adjustment?
I'm trying to get the Instrument cluster out to sort out the LED strips not working properly, and it's looking really difficult without adjustment

The steering wheel adjustment is by a manual lever located under the steering wheel. Adjustment is up or down, it is one of the disappointing items missing in the W208.

Hi Thanks for your reply - I already knew that there was supposed to be a manual lever underneath - the problem is there is no lever at all, anywhere that I can see
Were there some models released that had no adjustment whatsoever? Mine is a late model A208 convertible CLK, 2002 - so surprised there isn't any adjustment

The steering wheel adjustment is standard equipment on the North American W208 models and is located on the bottom of the steering column, as shown in the enclosed thumbnail.
