CLK 430 Strange Squeal Sound
 

Hi MB Experts!

I just got my car back from my local indy and started to develop this strange sound after my tailshaft couplings had been replaced (also engine mounts, transmission mounts, and draglink were replaced too). The strange part is that it only happens when it is cold.

I have taken it back, and as always I could not reproduce the sound. Luckily my dash cam caught the sound, but my indy says he cannot hear it (must be getting deaf).

I have put the car on a lift, but cannot reproduce it while on the lift. Everything else looks ok, bushings, etc.... I have tried lubricating them too, but no change.

I would like to get your opinion on this issue.

You can hear the high pitch sound coming and going.
