Xenon in 1999 CLK 320

Hey there...if I switch to a Xenon bulb, does the electrical wiring (plug) need to be changed to fit it? Thanks all!

If you're doing the full headlight assemblies they should plug right in and the car needs to be version coded to "Xenon Present." If you're talking about putting Xenon bulbs into your Halogen assemblies...don't. You will blind everyone with your low beams as the assemblies lack the proper cutoff for HID lights.

You can't just plug in xenon bulbs into your stock halogen housing. You'll need an HID conversion kit. And Josh K is right that a proper build would be to retrofit projectors on to control the cutoff. Another alternative would be to pick up some DEPO housing that already have built in projectors and plug in a quality HID conversion kit.
