New illuminated sills...

Tinted the tail lights like the W210 E55 and SL55....

Josh - my confession is that I paid to have them professionally done. But, look at the pics closely....they are virtually an exact match of the tint of that E55 in the photos. That's what I wanted......I probably would have screwed them up had I done them myself.

The upside? You CANNOT tell that these were sprayed. When I received them last week, I looked all over them and couldn't even find where they had taped them off....lifetime warranty too.

No overspray......they are perfect. :zoom:

I did mine myself, but you really can't argue with a lifetime warranty ;0)

Josh, I got the inspiration/idea to have the tail lights done because yours turned out so well.

There are a few more mods on the horizon....still collecting some parts, etc. In the end, I'm going for a really 'clean' look, but with a slightly more aggressive appearance. I think the tint, flat hood badge and smoked tail lamps add to that effect as well.

I'm hoping for the same results when I install the AMG euro-spec springs.

Looks great! Did you install the sills yourself? I bought a pair a little while back and went to have them installed (not very handy) and was quoted over $400 do get it done... That was a shock- the place I ordered them from told me more like 75-100usd. Thanks for any help... Car looks fantastic.

For the sills, I had some experienced help but it didn't cost me anything. Mostly, we followed the directions on formymercedes.com and did a search here for any 'gaps' in the instructions. Proform here was a big help too :y

I guess I'll have another set of Michelins sitting in the basement soon....I was high bidder on a set of 4 new michelins at a silent auction last night :hammer: :zoom: :nix:

New springs/springs pads are in! I'll get some photos posted in the next few days. :zoom:
