rear break light/ on and off
My rear break light (not the one in the window) keeps going out but then it comes on again. I replaced the bulb and it worked for about 4 hours then I got the light message/error on the dash on my way home the other night. I pulled over and had my friend step on the break and sure enough it was out again. I started tapping and slamming my trunk then it miraculously came back on. It sucks because it’s a calling card to get pulled over! Has anyone had this problem?

Yeah, I have an appointment for my catalytic converter on Thursday but I’m off warranty. I feel a little reluctant to have a dealer check it out because of the 2000% markup. Maybe a small Euro shop that deals with MB would be better. Do you know any shops or "independent contractors" in Pasadena that are trust worthy?

I would try wiggling the wires to the light and see if you can entise the problem...If so it could just be loose connection that you could fix yourself.
