hey guys installed them today...it was a little rough for me so a friend just popped them right out and installed the new ones.....easy as 1,2,3... i left the original white bulbs in there i felt they looked nicest.... here are the pics let me know what you think!(fitment is perfect and they really finish the look of the car now!!)

Can you tell me where you got them, how much they were?

Also can you tell me how you took off the original yellow ugly looking ones off? Did you just take something and pluck it out? For the clear ones, is it just popping it in?

purchased from www.autodynamic.com aka depo....as for installation my friend did it he just pulled it right out (cracked one of yellows lol) as for putting them in it there are two snap in hooks that you just press and they go right in there...i left the white bulbs in but i want to put either hyper whites or amber in there (ill try them tonight and post pics with a poll to see which to keep lol)

real simple install take a credit card slide under the original yellow ones and pop them right out real real simple. Than simply push the clear ones in they clip right in.

If it is orange, will it still blink orange through the clear light?

whichever color light bulb you leave in there it stays lit that color when the lights are on, it doesnt blink when you turn the blinker/hazard on thats why you have one blinker in the headlight and one on the side mirror

i believe china, quality is pretty good they seem sturdy, i went through the car wash and they didnt fog up as well so im guessing theres a good seal between the light and the bumper

btw anyone else want to share pics if they bought it?

BMW went to clear side markers and rear lights for E39 in 2001 vs amber E39 in 2000. What a difference!

They look great, are you going to change the bulbs to clear white, I would like to get a xenon type side bulbs. any one know which bulbs are good.

cracker i am personally liking the clear white bulbs that are already in the car, they come with amber and i ordered the hyper whites i just think the standard bulbs look best
