I know it's been discussed a million times but I have a question about Green Filters. I've done a search and read through all the posts about it but I want to know specifically for a stock CLK500. I know it doesn't increase power, but is the improved throttle response worth the extra money? Did it increase fuel economy for you guys? Did any increases go away after a while when the filter started to get dirty? I'm also concerned about it's ability to filter out contaminants, I assume it's not as good as stock.

Chi500,
I am tellin ya, the green fiilters are awesome. They give you better gas milage with a lil something something in the HP department. Anything is better than stock. lets just put it that way. I am selling my green filters along with my AMG airbox. That combination will give you better gas milage along with a little bit more HP. PM me and we can work something out!

Yeah, I just generally like the GreenFilters over stock. It seems to make the engine rev better and it feels like it wants to rev more. I don't know how much more HP it gave me (I think that it says you get a 7% increase on the box...which is total BS), maybe I got like 1 or 2 extra HP. I don't think it changed my gas mileage too much. It seems to be in the same exact place it used to be, anywhere from 9-12 mpg in city driving. I wish I could just get a cold air intake system but I can't seem to find one anywhere.
