CLK500 Supersprint sound clips???
Does any one have a sound clip of a CLK500 with Supersprint exhaust?
I am not 100% certain so I would like to hear a sound clip before I buy a Supersprint to my CLK500 (W209). I want the oval 145x95mm.
Kind Regards from Sweden

Is there anyone that have heard a Supersprint exhaust on a CLK500 that could describe the difference from the stock?
I want to buy the Supersprint middle exhaust and rear exhaust with 145x95mm but I can't find any sound clips on the Internet . Please help me!

Here is the sound clip of a SuperSprint exhaust on my CLK500. I also removed my resonator. Please excuse my cheap digital camera and the engine noise as my car was in the garage.
Enjoy.

Hmmm... Can't say that does it for me... Sounds kind of "wooshy"...
Maybe it sounds better in person in gear under load as opposed to simply revving in neutral/park in the garage...
I wish B&B made PRT's for Mercedes Benz other than SL500 and SLK's... B&B exhaust on my Vette sounded awesome... The only MBZ I've heard that sounded realy good was a SL55 AMG with Kleemman exhaust... But, hey, if that is the exhaust note you are after, go fo it...

The wooshy sound is from my engine due to the car being in the garage, NOT the exhaust. You gotta really listed for the exhuast note. (Very deep, not loud). It was also raining outside, and on top of that I hadn't let the car warm up. I’m going to do it again in a better situation. Also, my cheap digital camera doesn’t help out either, but what can you do. I will keep you guys posted.

I hear 'ya... Hard to get accurate exhaust note I'm sure... I have the AMG quad tipped exhaust on my CLK 500 and while it sounds nice when I'm on it, it's dead silent at idle and cruise isn't much louder... My Z06 had Billy Boat PRT's and they sounded awesome... Nice rumble at idle, throaty but not obnoxious when accelerating, and "Oh My God" at WOT...! When downshifting or decelerating, there was an occasional "pop" which was nice but not sure it would work on an MBZ CLK... No resonance whatsoever in the cab when cruising... Now I'm not trying to get my CLK to sound like a Vette, but something in between what I have and the Vette(s) would be nice... I've been considering Kleeman Headers and Resonator removal to see what kind of sound difference that makes... I guess I'm still getting used to the CLK being more stealthy after 2 - C5 Vettes which definately weren't...
