What's missing???

In the glove compartment of my 2004 CLK500 I see two clips, and an indentation on the door, that look like they should be holding something..What should be there??:nix:

It's above the CD changer, on the upper portion, left of the latch....
Ok I have come to the conclusion that it is for holding a pen. Not anything missing...

Mine's a pen holder, it came with a stainless steel fancy Mercedes Benz pen already clipped in place.

I looked and that is the first time I have EVER seen those clips.
I still have no idea, but I am guessing it's for a pen.
