changing the time on the instrument cluster

According to the manual I should have a "Time" submenu in the settings which will change the clock time. I don't see it anywhere as the only menus I have are Instrument Cluster/Convenience/Vehichle/and something else that I forgot.

I'm noticing that I'm missing quite a few menus which are listed in the manual... The other menu I don't see is "Lighting" but that's another story.

Does the Canadian version of the instrument cluster have less options? I should mention that I did import my car from the US into Canada, and one of the RIV requirements was to change the US instrument Cluster to a Canadian Instrument Cluster.

Anyone have any thoughts? I hope I don't have to bring it to the stealership for a simple time change....

when you're on the settings screen, use the up and down arrows (the same used to adjust volume) and you should see the other choices.

I have done that. The only options are Vehicle/instrument cluster/convenience/and one other, and it just cycles between those 4 options.

there is no time or lighting option

This is from the manual on MB owners online. It's pretty consistent with what I remember doing on my prior CLK without the navi, as the time menu doesn't readily pop up when normally scrolling through the menu options. Hope this helps...

Using multifunction steering wheel

Locate "Page" button (1) on left side of steering wheel.
Press the reset button for three seconds.
Locate the "Up arrow" button (3) on the left side of the steering wheel.
Press the "Up arrow" until the words "Settings" appears in the instrument cluster screen (2).
Select time submenu then press up arrow.
Adjust hours setting using the "+" or "-" buttons (4) located on the right side of the steering wheel.
To adjust minutes, press the "Up arrow" until the words "Clock, minutes" appear in the instrument cluster screen.
Adjust minutes using the "+" or "-" buttons located on the right side of the steering wheel.
To finish, press reset stalk (5) located on the left side of the dashboard.
