wot kinds of cars can the 500 match up against or out perform....mustangs? corvettes? etc....

Porsche Boxster S, I was having some fun with one last summer, smoked it, the guys wife in the porsche was impressed, they were giving me and my buddy thumbs up haha.

No C5, C6 Corvettes.
V8 mustangs are a very close race. I give the upper hand to the CLK500 over a new Mustang GT.
CLK500 barely edges out Jag XKR.
CLK500 loses to STi and Evo.
CLK500 beats E36 M3
CLK500 loses to E46 M3.
CLK500 loses to E39 M5.
CLK500 runs very close with R33 Skyline GT-R.
CLK500 loses to Stage II or up Audi B5 S4.
CLK500 slowly pulls 335i from roll.
CLK500 spanks supercharged Scion coupe.
CLK500 very close with Boxster S, giving edge to CLK.
CLK500 loses to 996 911TT.
CLK500 loses to 993 911TT.

Yep, it's a silver stock R33 GT-R. Westchester County, NY. We were pretty close but I had the advantage. It wasn't a full on race, we were more just playing around but from what it looked like, I was pulling him. :y

y, send me his info. i might be interested in getting an R34 to mod. my brother wants to get rid of his B5 S4, so i might just mod that instead. i know its no skyline :D

btw is he asking for more than MSRP for the R35?

It's like 100k for an R35 and about 50-60k for an R34.

don't worry about it bro, for 100k i would get an M6. the R34 might be good but i would like to first get my brothers s4 to stage3+. that should be like 450rwhp w/ a great AWD system.

I would disagree with the corvette c5 non z06. Ive ran against 2 of them...:zoom: Lets just say the clk500 matches up fairly well.

Maybe the person in the C5 didnt know how to drive...:nix:

i think the corvette non z06 is a little over 400 horses and the clk500 is 302, im not sure bout weight to hp specs but 100 horses is a big difference. Im not too sure if the 500 can beat it out
