Temp Gauge
Hi on my 2003 CLK the outside temp gauge sometimes shows +39 and living in Scotland that will never happen, is there a way to reset it or do I have to get a new sensor. Thanks

The easiest thing to do is to see if it's fallen out of place. It should be located behind the front fascia by the grill. It's a tight spot and if you're mucking about behind the bumper you might have just knocked it out of place and into the engine bay... where it gets really hot.
If everything is in place, then you would need a new sensor as the ecu only takes readings.. not so much set up.
