Need your opinions.

With my new wheels, I now can see my stock brake caliber more. I'm thinking about paint it red. What do you guys think? Isn't too chessy looking because it stock caliber and not big enough? I bought the caliber paint kit today but I'm having second thought about doing it. Thanks.

If you paint it red, then paint the 'Mercedes Benz' writing on it in white. THAT will look good, if you paint the whole caliper red only then atleast to me it wont look good.

hm....I have a different idea than everyone here so far...I think it will look cheap, you will lose the originality. I'd rather get after market brakes if I was gonna do anything to mine. I think painting calipers is ricey. Benz are classy cars and painting the calipers just kinda ruin that concept....just my 2 cents but hey if you like it go for it!

Buy the sticker for the writing parts ...you dont have to paint it but the calipers. You should have the AMG brake right ? is your look like this ?

I totally agreed with you on a stock car. But if a car is totally mods like mine, then is I don't think it cheap looking. I personally like how red caliber look on the silver Clk 500 above.

These are all after market kits that cost a few thousand bucks. They're not painted mercedes calipers.

Did you painted the whole caliber or just the outer half only?

Get aftermarket calipers. The silver clk has after market calipers....your merc calipers won't look like that I guarantee it

There's no way I gonna spend $2K on aftermarket kit. Yes, the silver clk got an aftermarket kit. Even though, you can really see the full front caliber on that Clk but it still look kindna nice seeing a little red on front and rear caliber.

Hey.......I asked for an opinions and that's exactly what you gave me. So thank you. Btw, even if I willing to spend $2K for the aftermarket kit, I think I'm gonna run into problems with my wheel offset. I sure don't want to open another can of worms.

If you keep the MB white and clean up the bolts, I think it would look good. If you do decide on going through with it, make sure to post some pics
