Dead batteries in w209......

is it ok to leave my car on garage for 3 months?
will the battery be dead?
coz i plan to go for a vacation....


what can you do about this?can u just disconnect the battery?

If you are planning to leave for 3 months, I suggest you disconnect the battery.

will there be some problem when i re connect the battery back?will there be some problems with the electronic things?windows..etc...

I am not sure, but if you reconnect the battery when you return you will probably have certain things that need to be re-programmed at the dealership.

how do you disconnect the battery ?


and i heard about this trickle charger , what exactlly is it?
can you use it on a w209

If you're going for 3 months, the best way is to put your car in my place. Let me take care of it.

Yeah, you should disconnect the battery.

what are all the things that have to be programmed?
does it also include stuffs like brakes,esp and other important stuffs ?
