Drivers door mirror
I need to replace the mirror glass for the drivers door as the gel inside that provides the antigalre has leaked out. I have sourced the replacement but would appreciate help in knowing how to fit it

Gatsby - please use the UserCP ^^^ to add some details. It sometimes helps, eg, there was a design change to the mirror cover in Mar 2004. Here's the instruction for the removal of the glass:

CLK Driver Mirrors
Hey Guys - so are the mirrors different then, for the CLK w208 (until year 2003) and CLK w209?
I looked at the WIS in your PIC above, and I am thinking they are different...seems like these newer ones use some kind of retaining lug, where on the w208's, there is no "lug" but there are the "support springs" and the backing plate kinda snaps into the motor drive plate.
Thought I'd ask because the w208's are more expensive.
