Im tired of the single exhaust tip that I have on my 2003 clk 500.. I want a nice chrome dual tip.. Maybe the AMG one. I know most of this stuff you have to order from the dealer.. Does anyone know where you can get the AMG exhaust tip or something like it? Thanks

i would recommend getting 2 tips from ebay and having an exhaust shop weld them on via y-pipe to your existing muffler.

i know steve (from the netherland) sells amg tips. I'm not sure what his screen name is though, steveML or something similar to that I believe. I'm sure if you do a search for "steve" you'll find out what you need.

Hi Everyone,

I am new here, and really like the forum.

Had a quick search but very difficult to find the answer...

I wanted to remove the standard/stock exhaust tip from my CLK 240 to give it a good clean (it is covered in black soot, etc). Used a mirror and it looks like its held on with one bolt, but its smooth on both outer and inner edges so used pliers, but no luck...

Is it possible to remove without damaging the bolt or should I just clean it as it is?
