Still waiting for the programmer. Just ordered it over the weekend so they haven't had a chance to send it out. I'm itching to get it!

I never did a before/after dyno test, but the throttle response improvement was noticeable right away and I do feel more pull at highway speeds.

Hey Wes! I bought the Thermo Tec 13575 Adhesive Backed Heat Barrier from Summit Racing (their ebay store). It's really easy to work with and I'm happy with the results!

The Air Cleaners would be #1/#2 that house the air filters

The Rear Intake Pipe Assembly would be #8/#9/#10 (Y connector)

Yea 5 would be the actual filters.

Nope, nothing covers the middle just like Carlos's pic above. I was thinking of painting the middle black...

Does anyone know if the CLK55 airbox work just as good? Does it have fins or is it just the same as my 500 airbox?

edit: did a search found out all I need to know

It doesn't sound like the CLK55 airbox makes any performance gains. It looks exactly like the 500 airbox, cover and all (except painted).

And the 55k airbox doesn't say AMG becasue it says that right next to it.

You should be able to just pull off the air box. Only a couple torx screws after that and your all set.

Hey Brian,
I'm keeping my original 500 box for Smog Test purposes. The bigger box hides my headers (when I get them) and the little protruding hose on the left side of the 55K airbox (looks like it supposed to go to the supercharger; It's like I messed with the smog equipment). What I ended up doing is polishing the aluminum intake (real shiny ) and now it looks custom

Hey Wes,
Did you ever put on the tyreart on your tires? Any pics?
